Northwest Montana Water Steward

Samantha Tappenbeck works with conservation districts, watershed groups, and landowners in northwest Montana as a coordinator and technical resource on issues of water quantity and quality. Samantha is working west of the continental divide in the lower Clark Fork and Kootenai Basins to connect conservation districts and stakeholders to available resources to meet their needs.

Samantha has worked to organize and host workshops, develop watershed restoration plans, conduct landowner outreach, and implement restoration projects. Scroll down to read more about ongoing and recent projects.
