The Montana Conservationist

TMC for August 19, 2015, is now here!

This week we tour a fantastic project in Alder, Montana that gave the Ruby River a curvy new look. Then we hear from farmers in New Mexico about what the orange-colored Animas River disaster has done to their livelihoods. Finally, there’s a new resource for land managers that ranks weeds according to their invasiveness, which is pretty great if you happen to have more than one exotic invader on your property. And for those that read all the way through to the end, Madison CD welcomes who may be the youngest supervisor in the nation to their board.

But wait, there’s more! We’ve got a whole smorgasbord of workshops, tours, and training opportunities coming in the near future.

You read it here first, or second. It’s The Montana Conservationist this week.

Kate is the Communications and Technology Manager for Soil & Water Conservation Districts of Montana. She manages the website, puts out The Montana Conservationist every other week, and assists conservation districts with technology, websites, and communications.
