Term Endeavors Include:
1) Assist with restoration projects, field collections and monitoring
2) Community outreach and education initiatives
3) Volunteer recruitment, training, and retention.
Allison grew up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Golden, Colorado. She received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado with a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and a minor in geology. After graduating she joined Utah Conservation Corps, spending the fall of 2019 along the Colorado River performing river restoration in Moab, Utah. Allison has worked as a camp counselor in the Colorado Rockies, as a raft guide in the Four Corners region, and as a reclamation intern with the State of Colorado’s Oil and Gas Commission. Allison is looking forward to be serving an Americorps term with The Nature Conservancy through Big Sky Watershed Corps. When Allison isn’t at work, you can find her hiking, biking, rafting, skiing or just hanging out cooking, making art, and listening to music.
