It’s time for the weekly fluff! No, just kidding. It’s time for The Montana Conservationist!
This week in TMC, we get the bad news out of the way first with a spring drought outlook. Then we’ve got a study with ideas on how to convince farmers to conserve water (hint: loads of cash is a good start). On page 3, a hitchhiker on the federal spending bill will help Montana and other states in the fight against aquatic hitchhikers; and we turn the spotlight on a great mini-grant funded project in the Flathead (just in time to get your creative juices flowing for the spring round of mini-grant funding).
Did you guess that there’s more? You’re right. Read TMC 2016-01-21 to check out the rest!
P.S. Sometimes we just need a couple of compliments. If you find TMC valuable, please fill out our reader survey to help us convince our funders that we’re worth the big bucks. http://goo.gl/forms/yIZCKt96Hz
